Drip Irrigation System

The drip irrigation system is an irrigation system in which water, with the help of dispensing droppers dispensers, in the form of drops, is supplied directly to the root zone of plants. This method allows you to achieve significant water savings and maximize yield. It should be noted that a distinctive aspect of the use of the drip irrigation system is that along with saving water, it is also possible to save a significant part of fertilizers. Other advantages of using this system are: reduced labor costs, reduced energy consumption and reduced pipeline lengths. In addition, with drip irrigation, the harvest is transferred to an earlier period, soil erosion is prevented, the spread of plant diseases and the occurrence of weeds are reduced. Initially, this method of irrigation was common in the greenhouse industry, and later it began to be widely used in open fields for growing vegetables, fruits, as well as grapes.

Sprinkler system

The method of irrigation referred to as “Irrigation method by type of sprinkling.” A type of crop irrigation, in which water is sprayed with droplets into the air at a certain angle and pressure, and falls over its surface and plants already under its own weight. The water supplied resembles natural rain, hence the name of the system “sprinkling”. Irrigation is carried out in all soil conditions, inclined (slopes) and flat lands (plains), and for almost all types of plants. Due to the fact that irrigation is surface, the sprinkler system can be used in conditions with a low water flow. Sprinkler heads pressurize water into the air as a natural precipitate. After that, water falling on the surface of the earth flows into the soil by filtration, and is stored in the root zone of the plant. In the sprinkler system, pressurized water is supplied to the sprinkler heads and spreads above the ground surface by artificial rain.
